Construo Recruitment are working with a leading construction and project management company, who are recruiting an experienced Site Manager / Construction Manager to oversee an external works package. This is an exciting opportunity to lead key infrastructure projects, ensuring the successful delivery of works including Riverwalk way, Section 278 (S278) agreements, incoming roads, and hard and soft landscaping.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all aspects of the external works package, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Coordinate site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and health & safety regulations.
Liaise with project stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and local authorities.
Ensure Section 278 (S278) highway works are executed in compliance with legal and technical requirements.
Supervise the construction of Riverwalk way and incoming roadworks, ensuring proper planning and execution.
Oversee the delivery of both hard and soft landscaping elements, ensuring aesthetic and functional project requirements are met.
Monitor site progress, manage site personnel, and report on project milestones.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction, specifically with external works projects.
Strong knowledge of Section 278 (S278) agreements and associated roadworks.
Experience managing Riverwalk way projects and landscaping elements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met.
Relevant construction management qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, etc.).
