Copywriting and Social Media Executive opportunity based near South Gloucester/Bath border. You’ll join a rapidly growing and well-established, collaborative, supportive company, who have an excellent reputation in the home and garden renovation market, within a marketing team of four.

Focusing on both retail and trade sectors, you’ll produce high-impact content writing that focuses on promoting the product range and solutions with best SEO practices in mind for digital blog writing with keyword integration.

Good social media experience is essential to create interesting 'on topic’ posts that will grow followings via static, video and paid for campaigns, you’ll plan and execute this each month with influencer targets being sourced for possible collaboration.

About you:

  • 2+ years of experience in PR (agency or in-house)
  • Experience in creative writing, social media management, and *SEO/keyword best practices *The ability to create SEO content yourself!
  • If you’ve worked within construction, DIY, homes/gardens, architects or similar that would be useful but is my no means essential
  • Strategic social media practice
  • Knowledge in creative apps/programmes to help aid social content creation
  • Proven success delivering results for your company or clients
  • Full, clean driving licence with access to a car

Day to day:

  • Develop and create PR articles/blogs for online & print within the home/garden improvement & renovation markets.
  • Input on publication suitability and provide strategic PR counsel.
  • Understand and follow SEO best practices to integrate key words into digital content blogs.
  • Add digital blogs/articles to website using the website CMS.
  • Produce high-quality monthly content for social media campaigns (paid & organic) working alongside in-house Graphic Designer.
  • Monitor social messages and comments to respond appropriately.
  • Implement potential influencer research & outreach for collaboration (Modash or HypeAuditor)
  • Collaborate with the team to create impactful, results-driven campaigns.
