The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Generator Engineer / Generator Engineer shall carry out service and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on various generators and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Generator Engineer / Generator Technician will ideally have experience in preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on various generators and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment.
Must be commutable to site in Bristol and happy to cover surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
- Carry out service and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on various generators and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment.
- Maintain and service critical power supply equipment and associated electrical equipment, mainly generators in a wide variety of commercial and industrial sites across the Southwest.
- Carry out load bank testing, site surveys, inspections, fault finding, repairs and testing of generator sets and associated generator equipment.
- Projecting spares requirements for upcoming and planned works.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Full product training provided.
- Happy to commute to site in Bristol and happy to cover surrounding areas.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Generator Engineer, Generator Technician, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Power Generation Engineer, or similar
- Skilled in technical report writing with attention to detail
- A technical electrical/ mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving license
- Flexible for Overtime/part of the on-call rota.
- Commutable to site in Bristol and happy to cover surrounding areas.
- Ability to obtain client clearances i.e: police, MOD
