The company are a leading turnkey provider of district heating networks across the UK. District heat networks contribute to 2% of the UKs total heat, and my client are looking to assist in the expanding the sector to hit the governments 20% target. They cover the whole project lifecycle, from development to construction and are expanding rapidly.
In this role, you will initially be working primarily on the tender stage of projects - estimating and costing the prices of above ground district heating works on systems across the UK. It is an office-based role with occasional site visits.

The Role:
- Estimating costs for district heating projects across the UK.
- Project requirement analysis - with accurate estimate creations and subsequent project management,
- Working on above-ground works, connecting buildings to district heating piping.
- Initially you will be working primarily on the tendering stage of projects with a movement to live projects.
- Tender management and assistance.
The Candidate:
- Mechanical Estimating experience.
- Building services experience - HVAC, Plant Room etc.
- Degree Educated or Technical Qualification Equivalent.
- Motivate to train into district heating, as well as having personal career goals.
