Employment Type - Permanent, 40 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Person to deliver a program of general maintenance, health and safety checks and low-level repairs.

Youll be an experienced maintenance worker with practical skills such as painting, cleaning, gardening, light repair work and some basic carpentry. There will be both planned and reactive maintenance elements to the role. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with minimal supervision and the role will suit an individual with a positive and mature approach to their work.

General:

  • Power washing and tidying external areas such as walkways and entrances.
  • Improving the appearance of the home by painting, glossing, sanding, and doing basic repairs to bedrooms and communal areas
  • Making sure your sites are safe, clean and tidy and escalating any hazards.
  • Inspecting the site and equipment in line with Health and Safety procedures
  • Completing your job list within the specified time range and updating the IT system with the information

Essential:

  • A compassionate and caring nature
  • Good level of skills and experience in carrying out general maintenance and practical DIY skills
  • Competent with different tools and machinery such as saws, drills, and hand tools
