A great opportunity to join a global Design Engineering consultancy immersed in the UK Water sector for over 100 years. Our client is recruiting for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to provide technical input to their affiliated delivery contractor and the project team working on behalf of South West Water. As Senior Process Engineer you will play a vital role in our clients quest for engineering excellence.
As Senior Process Engineer you will:
- Lead the development of process design deliverables, including process models, mass balances, control philosophies
- Provide technical assurance of the process designs undertaken by others and ensure the design complies with framework and industry standards.
- Identify and suggest opportunities for innovation to meet whole-life cost and net-zero drivers.
- Work closely with the internal commercial, operational and construction teams to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout the design stages and construction.
- Engage with the end client, build/manage relationships and adopt a one-team approach.
- Support the development of the process engineering team. Mentoring engineers to develop their skill set and identifying the correct resource for the projects.
Our client requires a Senior Process Engineer with:
- A degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, or similar related field.
- Chartered or incorporated member status of a professional institution e.g ICE, IMechE, etc, or equivalent experience.
- The ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to projects.
Salary/Benefits:
- 50,000 - 80,000 per annum (depending on experience and chartered status)
- Company bonus scheme, typically 5% - 8%
- Agile working
- 40 hour working week
- 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and option to purchase an additional 10 days
- Company pension, employer contribution up to 7%
