The Role:

On behalf of our client we are seeking a Commercial Administrator. This role is a crucial role to support their commercial, sales function and office operations. Your responsibility will include setting up and supporting the smooth running of jobs. Your responsibilities will include handling administrative tasks, coordinating communication, with operational and internal teams, and maintaining accurate records. You will support the commercial team, and the wider business ensuring efficiency, organisation, and adherence to project timelines and information flow

Responsibilities include:

  • Logging, checking, and processing new orders, creating new job files with comprehensive information regarding the customer requirements
  • Creating and checking floor plans/measurements and material requirements
  • Liaising both internally and externally to check and communicate accurate data for service and order delivery
  • Maintaining various databases, inc. excel, SharePoint spreadsheets, SAP
  • Maintain up-to-date job files, contracts, and correspondence, ensuring version control and easy retrieval of information.
  • Assist in maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams by managing inquiries and following up on outstanding actions.

The Person:

For this role our client is looking for someone who has excellent administration experience and fantastic attention to detail. Our client is also looking for:

  • You will also be a problem solver
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work
  • Excellent numerical and literacy skills to undertake a range of tasks
  • Good team player with excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Full clean UK Driving licence would be desirable
  • Experience within contract and domestic flooring contractor requirements within the house building industry would be desirable

The Salary:

£28,000

The Benefits:

20 days holiday+ bank holidays + Christmas close down. - the company shuts down at Xmas these days are covered as additional by the company., Pension, Free Car Parking

The Hours:

Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm with a 4pm finish on Fridays
