Your new companyThis organisation is looking for someone to join their wonderful front of house team as the lead office administrator. As a charity working with vulnerable members of our community, they prioritise values such as empathy, understanding and compassion for those who come to them for help.Your new roleYou will be based on site for 35hrs a week, front of house, responsible for incoming correspondence, primarily phone calls and emails, as well as greeting and attending to visitors.

  • Handle incoming phone calls and emails.
  • Greet and attend to all visitors, making them feel welcome by offering hot drinks.
  • Discussing the needs of the visitors and allocating them to the correct office personnel.
  • Ad hoc admin tasks required by the office team: printing, scanning, data entry etc.
  • Organising tasks for the day around receptionist duties.

What you'll need to succeed

  • As an organisation dealing with vulnerable members of society, we require someone with a warm presence and compassionate outlook.
  • Good ability to complete administrative tasks to a professional standard.
  • Great organisational skills, able to manage admin tasks for the day around phone calls and visitors.
  • Someone looking for a good team fit, happy to chat with our visitors and office based staff.
  • Knowledge of basic Excel is ideal, having worked on spreadsheets or data entry.
