Office Manager

Location: Bristol, UK

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Salary: Circa £45,000, plus benefits

This is an excellent opportunity to work as an Office Manager for a well-established IFA practice in Bristol. This is a brand-new role, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in office management, with specific experience in Investment Operations (IO) and Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) practice.

Key Responsibilities of the Office Manager:

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Manage and coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and office supplies.
  • Lead and manage a team of administrative staff, IFA's providing guidance and support.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Handle client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Support senior management with various administrative tasks and projects.

Requirements of the Office Manager:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IFA practice.
  • Proven experience in Investment Operations (IO).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in office software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
