Job Title: Site Operative / Labourer

Location: Severn Beach, Bristol, BS10

Contract Details: Temp To PermShifts: You must be available for all shifts on a 3 week rotation, 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm & 10pm-6am

Salary: £15 per hour with weekly pay

About Our Client: Our client is a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry, operating an Aggregate Manufacturing Plant. They are committed to producing high-quality products and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This is a 24/7 operation and you must be prepared to work outside.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the manufacturing production line and ensure compliance with safety and operational requirements.
  • Maintaining a clean and functional site including carrying out minor maintenance.
  • Manual labour including lifting and shifting heavy goods.
  • Assist the Team Leader with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as outlined in site manuals
  • Identify potential breakdowns and assist with maintenance and materials handling
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach towards health, safety, welfare, and security matters
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the Team Leader or Site Manager

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Physically Fit - this is a role where you are always on your feet.
  • Excellent reliability

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Tele-handler or Fork Truck Licence (not essential)
  • Experience within a manufacturing site, preferably in the waste, raw materials, aggregates, or construction industry
