FP&A Analyst

Core3 are delighted to partner with a marketing leading and growing business to recruit a FP&A Analyst opportunity in south Bristol. £50,000-£60,000.

It's an exciting time to join our client's growing business. A new role has been created for a Financial Planning & Analysis working as part of the Finance Business Partnering team responsible for providing key financial insight and reporting to the Board.

How you'll make an impact

Reporting into the Head of Finance business partnering your role will be to key to giving financial insight and reporting to the Board.

  • responsible for creating and reviewing business reports
  • Prepare key financial reports
  • Perform in depth analysis of financial data, with clear explanations or trends / outcomes
  • Analyse financial metrics e.g., margin analysis, customer churn and KPIs
  • Developing financial models
  • Building databases for capturing and facilitating the understanding of KPIs, customer churn and other financial metrics
  • Reviewing existing model suite and recommending opportunities for further automation / other efficiencies
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Support the FBP team in creating the annual budget
  • Attend monthly forecasting meetings with different business units and prepare analysis for the Board to review results and monitor financial performance

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with extensive month end experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills required for financial modelling..
  • Experience in a similar commercial finance role.
  • Ability to work independently to tight deadlines and take initiative.
  • Team player with a demonstrable `can do' attitude.
  • Ability to present information to management and in a clear and concise manner.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and business planning/intelligence tools such as Planful, Power BI preferable but not essential
