Programme Manager (Senior Manager Level)
- Salary: £75,000 - £80,000

The Role:
Join a 100+ employee scale-up digital transformation consultancy operating within the Defence industry.
This role blends remote working, office-based collaboration, and expensed client site visits across South England. Expect to be in the central Bristol office or on client sites 1-2 days per week.
As a Programme Manager/P3M Consultant, you will lead and oversee complex programmes, ensuring strategic alignment, governance, and efficiency while driving successful delivery for clients.
While the company's primary focus is Defence, they are currently expanding into other industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design high-value programmes to meet client needs, ensuring alignment with business transformation and operational goals.
- Lead cross-functional programme teams, ensuring successful delivery of complex programmes.
- Develop and implement programme strategies to drive business transformation and operational excellence.
- Define programme objectives, scope, and key deliverables, ensuring alignment with client goals.
- Establish and oversee governance frameworks, risk management, and performance tracking.
- Manage multiple projects within a programme, ensuring integration and coordination across workstreams.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire programme and project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Enhance client programme management capabilities through expert guidance, tools, and methodologies.
- Optimise workflows, governance structures, and overall efficiency across programmes.
- Support organisational change initiatives, including technology and process adoption.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive long-term partnerships and business growth.
Experience & Skills:
- 10-15 years' experience in programme and project management
- Experience designing and delivering high-value programmes.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams.
- Consulting experience, ideally within Defence or other regulated industries.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex programmes with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong governance, risk, and financial management capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and strategic planning skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MSP, APM, PRINCE2, PMP).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Eligible for SC Security Clearance.
