Technical Publications Hub Manager

CPS Group is working with a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced technology tools and systems for research and industrial applications. We are seeking a Technical Publications Hub Manager to join their team in Bristol, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

In this key role, you will lead the development and delivery of high-quality technical documentation across the business, ensuring consistency and excellence. As a strategic leader, you'll manage a team of technical authors, set industry standards, and oversee the creation of technical content that meets customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and manage relationships across departments to efficiently deliver projects.
Ensure clear content plans, timelines, budgets, and resources for all technical documentation projects.
Lead and support a team of technical authors, fostering a collaborative hybrid work environment.
Develop and maintain content standards, processes, and documentation in the Business Management System.
Explore new digital content formats such as videos and augmented reality.
Ensure compliance with export controls, health and safety regulations, and other business requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Degree in engineering, a technical discipline, or qualifications in English with a technical writing portfolio.
Strong experience with Madcap Flare and Adobe FrameMaker is highly desirable.
Proven experience in technical writing, team leadership, and resource management.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and drive content innovation.
