This strategic leadership role is essential for the delivery of the NCA's Estates Strategy and the transformational 'Concordis’ Programme. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic estate functions including facilities management, compliance, and budget management of approximately £80m.
- Drive the delivery and development of the Concordis programme, ensuring alignment with the NCA's strategic objectives.
- Oversee the closure of Spring Gardens and office move to the new headquarters in London, in conjunction with the expansion of NCA’s footprint within the Northwest.
- Provide strategic leadership to the Estates team responsible for the three key estates functions (minor works, facilities management and planned, preventative and reactive maintenance)
- Managing a mixed portfolio of leasehold, freehold, sole occupancy, and multitenant sites, responsible for external stakeholder relationships (landlords, managing agents, neighbouring tenants).
- Engage with senior stakeholders across government and law enforcement to support estate projects and initiatives.
- Manage functional compliance aligned to the Government Property Profession and Government Functional Standards.
- Support operations, corporate, and central service functions, to facilitate the NCA’s strategic objectives through provision of a fit for purpose estate.
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience in complex operational environments and leading equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Strong communication, influencing skills, and partnership building, preferably across government and security sectors.
- Relevant professional memberships (e.g., Chartered Institute of Building, Workplace and Facilities Management, MRICS).
- Ability to obtain Enhanced Security Clearance and Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: £76,000 - £117,800 per annum.
