Role Overview:As the Talent and Onboarding Manager, you will oversee recruitment and onboarding for both internal staff and external candidates for schools. Your role will involve managing the end-to-end hiring cycle, implementing efficient onboarding strategies, training and managing development as well as fostering long-term relationships with candidates and clients. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset to help the company grow and retain top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition:
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for both internal roles and school staff placements.
  • Leverage multiple sourcing methods, including online platforms, professional networks, and recruitment events, to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Manage the screening, interviewing, and selection process, ensuring alignment with company values and client requirements
  • Collaborate with internal management on company requirements and development of staff.

Onboarding

    • Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a positive introduction.
    • Facilitate the development and training of new staff during their induction period.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to prepare workspaces, IT access, and required documentation for new employees.
    • Conduct orientation sessions to familiarise new staff with company policies, values, and expectations.
    • Gather and act on feedback to continually improve onboarding processes.
    • Oversee the ongoing training and development of internal recruits.
    • Providing regular performance reviews with senior leaders

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or onboarding, preferably in the recruitment sector.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting within a fast paced temp sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people.
  • A proven track record of managing people or the desire to step into management and leadership.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR software.
  • Degree in Business, admin, HR or a related field (preferred).
