Role Overview
We are seeking a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Maritime for Leidos Europe Limited and reports to Head of CRM.
The role is primarily responsible for managing the Team Leidos relationship with the MOD Maritime customers; the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, DE&S Maritime Core Delivery (and their Delivery Teams) and the Submarine Delivery Agency.
The main tasks are to understand and communicate customer concerns, reduce frictions, explain constraints, educate the customer on Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation (LCST), manage change, assist with difficulties when requirements are changing and represent the customers needs within Team Leidos. The prime focus is improving performance and customer satisfaction. Fundamentally this is a coherency role and relationship building role based on authenticity, integrity and trust, ensuring the efficient cohesion of all customer interaction.
The role will expand to become the CRM lead for commodities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works closely with all Senior Leadership Team Members, Commodity Support Services (CSS) Category and Commodity Managers, and Storage, Distribution and Freight (SDF) Storage and Operations Managers to focus on the customers current and future requirements providing SME Maritime experience/expertise as needed
- Contribute to the LCST stakeholder management strategy.
- Hold regular engagements with the CMO (contracting authority), FLCs, DE&S Domain iLogs, DT Log Staff, Defence College of Support (DCS) Training Staff and other stakeholders to understanding current requirements, concerns, improve service levels and contribute to increased operational efficiency and capability
- Investigate and communicate issues around commodity procurement and provision
- Present to various courses as requested by the CMO, FLCs, DCS, and DE&S Domain iLogs and DTs
- Identify and highlight current and future service risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Support the annual customer satisfaction survey process to assess overall performance, and help develop and deliver an action plan to address concerns
- Support/Arrange End-User Conferences, themed workshops/Deep Dives for specific commodities or services to provide the customer with an opportunity to understand emerging developments and improve service levels.
- Identify on contract growth opportunities
- Contribute to the development of the customer facing elements of the Support Chain Integration Portal (SCIP) and ensure our Marketing and Communications (MarComms) channels reach as many customers as possible
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) advice to the development of Defence Logistics Framework (DLF)/Support Policy as it affects/could affect LCST Operations
- Support delivery of the Customer Satisfaction survey and subsequent action plan
- Support delivery of a clear communications plan that keeps the customer informed of current developments and issues
Skills Required
- Degree level education or equivalent
- UK Military background with Defence Logistics Supply Chain Experience
- UK driving license and prepared to travel within the UK to meet and brief customers
- Strong Communication skills (written and verbal) with a proven ability to influence
- Strong Emotional Intelligence and evidence of relationship building potential
- Must have successfully held Maritime Professional Logistics Command (or equivalent)
Skills Desired
Established relationships within the Front Line Commands (FLC) and Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) Integrated Logistics (iLogs) community
Strong experience leadership role
