We are seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Bristol (BS14) from September 2025.   • Salary: M1- M6 (£31,650 - £43,607), UPR 1-3 (£45, 646 - £49,094)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in humanities across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Guide students through the study of history, literature, philosophy, and culture, fostering critical thinking and a deep understanding of human society.
  • Plan, prepare and teach lessons to suit varying abilities and learning styles, including students with SEN or English as an additional language
  • Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of students
  • Active participation in extra-curricular activities/ educational visits / out-of-hours learning

We are looking for:

  • Hold the relevant Humanities qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BSC Hons) with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
  • Experience and/or willingness to teach other subjects
  • Exceptional communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment.
