About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Security Officer to join a small team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of premises, employees, and visitors. You will perform patrols, monitor security systems, and respond to disturbances, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism and safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols across designated areas to ensure security and prevent unauthorised access.
  • Monitor and control entry and exit points, ensuring compliance with security procedures.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances, taking appropriate actions as required.
  • Record daily activities, noting any irregularities such as damage, theft, or suspicious activities.
  • Collaborate with emergency services such as police or fire departments when necessary.
  • Provide assistance to those in need, including administering first aid where applicable.
  • Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to monitor activity within the premises.
  • Enforce company policies and regulations to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential risks and hazards.

About You:

  • Possess a valid SIA Licence (required).
  • Hold a full UK driving licence (required).
  • Experience in security or a similar role is beneficial but not required—training will be provided.
  • Excellent observational skills with the ability to detect suspicious activity or threats.
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures and the ability to assist in medical emergencies (preferred).
  • Familiarity with security systems such as alarms and CCTV is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to stay calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Physically fit with the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
