Contract Role: Security Manager - Leading Telecoms Company
Location: Bristol (Hybrid Working) 3 days onsite
Duration: 4 Months initially
We're partnering with a leading telecoms company supporting a critical Emergency Services programme, where security is essential to ensure reliable communication for emergency situations.
Role Overview:
As the Contract Security Manager, you'll manage the delivery of security processes, ensuring all security obligations are met. You'll work closely with security professionals, internal teams, and customer security teams to safeguard communications and ensure compliance with security requirements. Your role will also involve maintaining strong relationships with the customer, overseeing security performance, and managing contract commercials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the security management plan, ISMS, and security processes, ensuring all obligations are met.
- Collaborate with security teams to achieve objectives and provide assurance to customers.
- Oversee security activities, including in-life contract changes, and maintain security performance.
- Build trusted relationships with customer security teams and lead security activities.
- Manage contract commercials, including revenue and change requests, to maximise profitability.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Eligibility for Security Clearance
- Accreditations: CISSP, ISO/IEC 27XXX, ISACA (CISM, CISA, CRISC), or equivalent.
- Proven customer engagement experience, managing internal and external relationships.
- Strong skills in commercial/operational risk assessment, change management, and governance.
- Analytical and commercial expertise.
- Understanding of security solutions for global customers and excellent communication skills.
- 3-5 years' experience in security management and experience with ISO certifications (e.g., ISO 27001).
