HRGO is looking to recruit a UK based International Field Service Engineer. The role will be UK based and involves visiting customers across the UK and extensive worldwide travel. When working overseas these assignments can be for up to a month at a time.

Permanent - Fully remote position

The International Field Service Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and providing field service for industrial automation equipment. This includes technical support, maintenance and repair of insulating glass units and flat glass processing machinery. The duties include frequent communication with clients to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Duties:

  • Install, conduct maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment at customer sites throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide.
  • Provide high-quality technical assistance to customers to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Document customer machine information and technical conditions and make improvement suggestions.
  • Work within a cross functional team that includes applications, sales, engineering, or production for excellent customer service.
  • Train customers to operate and/or repair machines to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Act as an ambassador and work directly with customers during installations and repairs to enable their business success.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of electro- mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic control systems
  • Computer literate with knowledge and experience interrogating maintenance and PLC software
  • Field Service and Maintenance & Repair experience
  • Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools
  • Knowledge of industrial automation and glass processing machinery is beneficial
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Qualification in an Electro-Mechanical Engineering discipline or related field

Required:

  • Worked on Industrial Machinery
  • Full UK Diving Licence
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Overseas
  • Valid Passport
