About the Role:
- Position: Autism Support Assistant
- Location: Thornbury
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term-time only)
- Salary: 83.33 - 95.00 per day
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a child with Autism, helping them achieve their EHCP targets
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with professionals such as speech therapists, educational psychologists, and occupational therapists
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with Autism is desirable
- A patient, empathetic, and committed approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
