People Project Consultant - FTC
Do you have a passion for delivering innovative HR solutions, managing key projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, then this could be the role for you!
Opus People solutions are partnering with a leading financial services company to find an experienced People Project Consultant for a 6 month FTC to take the lead in driving people transformation and strategic change.
As a People Project Consultant, you will work closely with the People Project team, Strategic People Partners, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and execute solutions that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with Strategic People Partners to scope and manage key projects, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Leading and designing innovative People Projects, driving change and delivering value-added solutions for the business and customers.
  • Managing project controls, tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring dependencies are addressed.
  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, keeping them engaged, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Delivering change communications and training managers on how to communicate effectively with their teams.
  • Providing expert guidance on People policies, processes, and procedures throughout project delivery.
  • Analysing HR metrics to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience supporting and delivering transformation projects, particularly within HR.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience conducting data analysis, recognising trends, and making strategic recommendations based on insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time-sensitive tasks.
  • Generalist HR work experience including managing projects
  • Knowledge of HR metrics, policies, and procedures is highly desirable.
