Role Overview

• Work 1:1 with pupils who require additional support as a SEN Teaching Assistant - Behaviour Support (Mental Health TA)
• Assist children with challenging behaviour and help develop positive coping strategies
• Support classroom learning in collaboration with teachers and SENCOs
• Gain hands-on experience before pursuing a career in the education and training sector

Candidate Requirements

• A degree (2:2 or above) is desirable
• Previous experience working with children in any capacity (e.g. youth work, support work, SEN in sport, mental health support)
• Strong behaviour management skills - any restraint training is a bonus
• A proactive, confident, and compassionate approach
