Role Overview
- Work 1:1 with pupils who require additional support as a SEN Teaching Assistant - Behaviour Support (Mental Health TA)
- Assist children with challenging behaviour and help develop positive coping strategies
- Support classroom learning in collaboration with teachers and SENCOs
- Gain hands-on experience before pursuing a career in the education and training sector
Candidate Requirements
- A degree (2:2 or above) is desirable
- Previous experience working with children in any capacity (e.g. youth work, support work, SEN in sport, mental health support)
- Strong behaviour management skills - any restraint training is a bonus
- A proactive, confident, and compassionate approach
