We are seeking a full or part time SEN TA to join an outstanding Primary school in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset. A school that embraces all and aims to ensure every childbecomes a full, responsible and positive participantin the community.
About the role:
- Providing support to children with special educational needs
- Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons
- Helping to create a positive, supportive andengaginglearning environment
- Working one-on-one with students who may require additional support
- Supporting student progress to ensure each child reaches their full potential
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive school community
- Ability to adapt to individual students and their requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desired but not essential
