An outstanding Primary School in Bristol is looking for a Graduate to join their team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. The role involves supporting children aged 4 to 11 with complex Autism and Learning Disabilities.
Key Details:

- £85-£95 per day (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists and psychologists, where you'll be mentored and can shadow sessions. It's a fantastic chance for aspiring educational or occupational psychologists, therapeutic support workers, or SEN Teaching Assistant s to gain valuable experience working with special needs and mental health issues.
The Role:
- Work closely with children aged 4 to 11 with Autism and complex learning disabilities
- Provide consistent, ongoing support to ensure high-quality, child-centred care
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement tailored support plans
- Gain experience working with mental health and complex needs
Ideal Candidate:
- Psychology graduates or those with relevant degrees (e.g., Criminology, Social Work)
- Previous experience with SEN children (desirable but not essential)
- Passionate, proactive, and adaptable
- Able to use initiative and be open-minded when supporting children with complex needs
Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualifications or higher
- A degree is highly desirable
