An outstanding Primary School in Bristol is looking for a Graduate to join their team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. The role involves supporting children aged 4 to 11 with complex Autism and Learning Disabilities.

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists and psychologists, where you'll be mentored and can shadow sessions. It's a fantastic chance for aspiring educational or occupational psychologists, therapeutic support workers, or SEN Teaching Assistant s to gain valuable experience working with special needs and mental health issues.

The Role:

  • Work closely with children aged 4 to 11 with Autism and complex learning disabilities
  • Provide consistent, ongoing support to ensure high-quality, child-centred care
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement tailored support plans
  • Gain experience working with mental health and complex needs

Ideal Candidate:

  • Psychology graduates or those with relevant degrees (e.g., Criminology, Social Work)
  • Previous experience with SEN children (desirable but not essential)
  • Passionate, proactive, and adaptable
  • Able to use initiative and be open-minded when supporting children with complex needs

Qualifications:
