The Role
- Providing tailored 1:1 support to a child with SEN in a mainstream classroom
- Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters confidence and independence
- Collaborating with teachers and specialists to implement individual learning plans
- Supporting the child's academic and personal development with patience and empathy
- Gaining valuable experience in education and training within a supportive school setting
What We're Looking For
- Experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, particularly with ASD, ADHD, challenging behaviour, or non-verbal needs
- A compassionate and patient approach to working with children
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- A passion for working in education and training, supporting children with additional needs
