Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their social, emotional, and academic development?
Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join a Primary School in the Thornbury area as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
This Primary School is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their school to encourage children to actively be involved in their learning to help them grow and flourish.
The Role
As a successful candidate, you will be expected to be enthusiastic, patient and committed to make a positive impact on young learners.
The Head Teacher is looking for someone who has prior experience working with SEN pupils on a 1 to 1 basis. Someone who is comfortable inside and outside the classroom.
You will be expected to:

Be a Team Player and work collaboratively with other staff to ensure pupils are getting the best learning experiences.

Confident managing challenging behaviour inside the classroom.

Use your initiative to support within the classroom.
