An excellent Primary School in Bristol is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This role is ideal for graduates or experienced TAs looking to develop their skills in education and training and gain valuable experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role:

  • SEN Teaching Assistant providing 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with significant SEN and challenging behaviour
  • Supporting children with Autism, mental health difficulties, learning disabilities, or challenging behaviour
  • Working alongside experienced teachers and SENCOs to create a positive learning environment and further develop your education and training

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children (SEN experience desirable)
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Confidence, resilience, and enthusiasm
  • Team Teach or similar restraint training (desirable but not essential)
  • Graduate with a 2:2 degree or above (preferred but not required)
