Our client is a national charity that supports young people to reach their full potential by developing confidence and essential skills in individuals aged 8 -19.

They are seeking a Fundraising Development / Philanthropy Manager to work closely with our partners, their network is broad, from major donor contributions to local individuals, community and corporations.

Responsibilities:

Campaign Completion: Secure multi-year gifts of £25k per year or more.Stewardship: Inspire and retain Founder Patrons.Programme Development: Create a Patrons programme to attract individual and corporate donors.Donor Engagement: Identify and connect with potential donors.Stakeholder Involvement: Involve key stakeholders in Fundraising efforts.Event Organisation: Plan and execute events to build relationships.Data Management: Maintain accurate donor records and ensure GDPR compliance.Target Achievement: Meet Fundraising targets and KPIs.

Requirements:

Proven track record in securing major donor gifts or strong transferable experience.Experience in developing and converting a pipeline of prospects.Effective engagement and cultivation strategies.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM databases.Ability to manage competing priorities and work flexibly.Motivated to make a positive impact on young people's lives.Access to a car and ability to travel as needed.
