We are seeking an Agile Delivery Manager to join our team and oversee the operational delivery of services within an Agile framework. This role focuses on 3rd-line support and requires someone with a strong operational mindset, who thrives in fast-paced environments and is experienced in managing both technical teams and stakeholder relationships. This is a tactical, hands-on role with a primary focus on delivery and operations, rather than coaching.

If you are skilled in Agile and ITIL, and have experience leading operational teams in a 3rd-line support environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery and operational performance of a 3rd-line support team, ensuring seamless service delivery in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Drive the adoption of Agile ways of working, helping the team work efficiently, iteratively, and in alignment with operational goals.
  • Provide tactical leadership for day-to-day operations, ensuring that delivery teams meet operational objectives and resolve issues swiftly.
  • Stakeholder management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication around expectations, progress, and any issues that may arise.
  • Act as a point of escalation for operational issues, ensuring quick resolution to maintain service levels and support delivery.
  • Apply ITIL principles to ensure best practices in service management and continuous improvement of operational processes.
  • Manage delivery through careful prioritization and allocation of resources, working to optimize team performance and improve service outcomes.
  • Maintain a strong focus on operational efficiency, continuously looking for ways to enhance service delivery and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Foster a people-centric environment, providing clear communication and support to team members to ensure high morale and productivity.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Agile delivery management, specifically in operational settings.
  • Strong background in ITIL and a solid understanding of how to apply ITIL principles within an operational delivery context.
  • Experience managing 3rd-line support teams, including handling escalations and ensuring service continuity.
  • A people-oriented leader with strong communication skills, able to manage a diverse team and work with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Tactical decision-making and problem-solving abilities to manage day-to-day operational challenges.
  • Familiarity with project management principles, able to manage and deliver operational projects efficiently.
  • Not a coaching role - this position requires a hands-on approach to managing delivery and driving operational success.
