Supply Chain Assistant

Location: North BristolSalary: Up to £35,000Hours: Monday-Friday 8-5

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our supply chain runs seamlessly, supporting our commercial team and mobilisation managers to deliver excellence in everything we do.

Our success relies on strong, collaborative relationships with our suppliers, ensuring the consistent delivery of excellence across all projects. As such, we are seeking someone to lead and optimise our supplier network, driving performance and value throughout the supply chain. As the Supply Chain Assistant, will be at the forefront of supplier relationship management, working across a dynamic and varied portfolio.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working alongside our Commercial Team and Mobilisation Managers, you’ll help us manage suppliers, subcontractors, and goods to keep our operations efficient and sustainable. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Supplier and Subcontractor Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring their performance aligns with our standards and project timelines.
  • Procurement Support: Sourcing goods and services, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring the best value without compromising quality.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Overseeing the logistics of goods and services, ensuring timely delivery to support project mobilisation and ongoing operations.
  • Stock and Inventory Management: Tracking and monitoring goods to ensure availability for upcoming projects, avoiding delays, and minimizing waste.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline supply chain processes, enhance efficiency, and align with our sustainability goals.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Acting as the link between our commercial team, mobilisation managers, and external suppliers to ensure everyone is aligned and informed.
  • Problem-Solving: Quickly resolving any issues that arise, from delivery delays to supplier queries, keeping projects on track.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience or Interest in Supply Chain/Procurement: Prior experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement is a bonus, but passion and a can-do attitude are key.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You’re confident working with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep everyone on the same page.
  • Organisational Superpowers: You can juggle multiple tasks and deadlines without breaking a sweat.
  • Attention to Detail: You know the small details make the biggest difference, and you never miss a beat.
  • Analytical Thinking: You’re comfortable working with data, tracking performance, and identifying trends or areas for improvement.
