Electronic Equipment Manager

Are you an experienced or aspiring Electrical or Electronic Equipment Manager eager to make an impact? Our client, a leading organisation in defence systems, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team in Bristol.

With a competitive salary up to 65k and dynamic hybrid working conditions, this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for delivering a mission-critical piece of equipment into the programme on-time, on-cost and on-quality. This role is to manage equipment, along with all that relates to it, including being the equipment requirement authority (ERA), in support of the project.

The Electronic Equipment Manager Role

As an Electronic Equipment Manager, you will be pivotal in delivering mission-critical electrical and electronic equipment within a new development programme. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project managing the delivery of equipment throughout its development, qualification, and manufacturing phases.

  • Managing relationships with internal and external design authorities to ensure timely and quality delivery.

  • Producing Statements of Work and reviewing qualification verification evidence.

  • Controlling assigned budgets and managing work packages effectively.

  • Handling risks and opportunities and arranging design reviews with relevant stakeholders.
