We are seeking a talented and motivated Website Developer to join our team. This role involves developing, maintaining, supporting, and evolving our web presence across multiple platforms, with a key focus on enhancing our door designer facility, which allows users to configure and submit enquiries seamlessly.
Day-to-day of the role:- Develop, maintain, and enhance our web presence across five distinct websites.
- Improve the door designer facility to provide a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with external parties managing some of our websites to ensure consistency and quality.
- Work with legacy code, updating and optimising it to meet current standards.
- Take style guidance from key stakeholders to ensure the websites align with our brand and vision.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest coding technologies and methodologies to implement best practices.
- Proven experience as a Website Developer with a strong portfolio of web projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, or Python.
- Ability to work with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
