An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a contract position at their Bristol facility. We are looking for aSkilled TIG Welderto join on a12-month contract.Please note this role is going to be on arotating shift pattern(mornings, afternoon and nights).

On a typical day as aSkilled Welder, you will be expected to; engage in Health and Safety activity, produce components at the highest Quality, follow Manufacturing Instructions and Data Cards and work to meet high volume requirements.

As a Skilled Welder, your key accountabilities would be:

  • Maintaining our excellent quality standards, being an integral part of our manufacturing process.
  • Welding of Nickel, Steel and Alloys using various processes including TIG welding in accordance with defined specifications and procedures, as detailed within the Manufacturing Instructions and Data Cards.
  • The role will require you to work to tight tolerances, experience of this will need to be demonstrated at interview.
  • Work within strict HS&E guidelines, Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • We work within a cutting-edge manufacturing facility, so a basic IT knowledge is essential.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completed a recognised time-served apprenticeship including City and Guilds, NVQ3/SVQ3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline.(Original trade papers must be available for review at interview).
  • Experienced of TIG Welding to agreed standards.
  • As aSkilled Welderyou will have experience in working with Nickels/Steels and Alloys.
  • Ability to read and interpret design drawings (considered an asset).
  • An up-to-date working knowledge of health, safety (including COSHH) and environmental procedures.
