The primary objective is to undertake tasks using appropriate techniques to ensure that agreed actions and service delivery targets are met. Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders and Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices following the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992.
  • Assist the team manager or principal officer in delivering the work programme, including producing managerial and technical data information and preparing specialist technical drafts for approval.
  • Operate a PC to assist in the production of maps, models, graphics, drawings, and diagrams, ensuring that Transport Service communication needs are accurately met.


Job Requirements:

  • Experience with Temporary Road Traffic Orders (TRO).
  • Strong understanding of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992.
  • Proficiency in producing technical and managerial data.
  • Ability to operate a PC to create maps, models, graphics, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Effective communication skills to ensure accurate project support.
