1:1 Teaching Assistant - Thanet
Academics, Thanet are currently working with a reputable secondary school in Thanet who are seeking dedicated and passionate 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join their team. The ideal candidates will have experience working with students in a one-on-one capacity, providing tailored support to meet their individual learning needs.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with an assigned student to support their academic and personal development.
- Assist in implementing individualised education plans as directed by the classroom teacher/SEN Lead.
- Provide feedback to the teacher/SEN Lead on student progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and empathy when working with students.
- Ability to follow instruction and work effectively as part of a team.
- Ideally you will have 1 of the following…
- A degree qualification
- Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.
