We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our team in Dorset.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Program, set, and operate CNC Mill/Turn Lathe machines with FANUC control systems to produce precision components to customer specifications.
  • Produce both offline and online CNC programs – experience with Edgecam software is an advantage but not essential.
  • Inspect your own work to ensure compliance with drawings and SPC requirements.
  • Maintain a high standard of engineering ability and workmanship.
  • Keep your work area organized and compliant with 5C/5S standards.

 

 

What We're Looking For:

 

  • Recognized apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
  • Fully skilled engineer with experience in precision machining.
  • Strong knowledge of FANUC controls and CNC programming.
  • Experience with Nakamura machines with bar feed (advantageous but not essential).
  • Previous experience in the aerospace industry preferred.
