What You’ll Be Doing:

As the Financial Controller, you will be the architect of the financial infrastructure:

Foundation Building: Establish and lead the finance function transitioning from Sage to more robust software, setting the stage for scalable growth.

Strategic Finance: Craft detailed monthly management accounts complete with insightful commentary, and spearhead comprehensive financial reporting across all business departments.

Forecasting the Future: Develop precise cash flow forecasts for the next 12 months, engage in meticulous budget planning, and set strategic KPIs to monitor our progress.

Project Involvement: Take a proactive stance in various strategic projects, driving the company’s growth plans forward.

Leadership and Insight: Offer critical financial insights and challenge the status quo, providing the management team with the data-driven evidence needed to make informed decisions.

Who You Are:
  • Qualified Accountant: With 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, your credentials speak for themselves.  Preferably CIMA or ACCA
  • A Master of Trade: Your expertise spans business operations, logistics, customs, and international tax laws, making you a formidable player in the financial arena.
  • Strategic Thinker: You are adept at financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with a proven track record of setting up and leading finance functions and systems.
  • Communicative Influencer: Your exceptional communication skills enable you to effectively challenge and influence the management team.
  • Dedicated Leader: Fully committed to the long-term success and growth of the business, you are ready to lead by example and inspire your team.
