Equifind have teamed up with an exciting crypto firm, who need an experience financial accountant to join their London team.

You will jump straight in at the deep end and get immersed with the financial reporting and daily running of the finance function.

This is an awesome assignment for a tried and tested financial accountant to work closely with the wider finance team, to produce the financial statements and get involved in as much as possible. Lots of projects to keep you entertained as well.

Key duties and responsibilities for this financial accountant position include but aren’t limited to:

  • Oversee all areas of financial accounting of control, including financial accounting, treasury, systems, and finance transactions
  • Lead the preparation of management accounts, payroll processing and VAT returns
  • Ensuring accurate and current financial ledgers
  • Coordinate and manage external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Prepare audit schedules, provide necessary documentation, and address any auditor queries
  • Coordinate and prepare statutory reporting using US GAAP for subsidiary entities
  • Ensuring accurate and current financial ledgers
  • Provide the management committee with financial reporting vital to the decision-making process
  • Support the implementation of new AP software, including new budgeting and forecasting process
  • Ensure compliance is always adhered to in accordance with regulations
  • Ad hoc projects as and requested by senior management

Experience & Qualification

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-4 years PQE
  • Experience of digital assets or brokerage would be beneficial
  • Strong excel and Sage experience
  • Exposure to projects and implementing systems is needed
  • Can work independently in a timely fashion

Rate/Salary

This exciting opportunity for a financial accountant will pay between £60000-£70000, depending on your experience.

This assignment will be for 9-12 months and has the possibility to go permanent if the business continues to grow on the current trajectory.
