Teqniq is searching for a Supervising Business Support Officer to work in the public sector.

Job Description:

To provide high-level administrative support for the Children’s Safeguarding & Care Planning and Court Service. To report to the Senior Safeguarding Business Support Officer.

Based at Bromley Civic Centre. Working from the office 2 days per week then working from home. Role will be full-time in office whilst training.

Requirements:

The candidate will need to have good communication skills and be able to ask for help as teamwork is key.

Strong prioritisation of workload is needed and very high attention to detail.

Must have competent numeracy and literacy skills with an accurate and high typing speed, at least 55wpm.

Must be organised, have strong administrative skills, to include Excel, and excellent attention to detail.

Experience taking minutes and accurately typing them up is important.

Must be able to prioritise workload effectively and work to deadlines.

Professional telephone manner and attitude is essential, with excellent communication skills and experience dealing with a high volume of phone calls.

Ability to use initiative and to be self-motivated as well as working as part of a team.
