Sonic Summary

The position is for a Team Manager in the Safeguarding and Care Planning Team located at Bromley Civic Centre with a hybrid working option.
The salary includes a £2000 annual retention payment and a £2000 Golden Hello, along with other excellent benefits such as a lease car.
Applicants must possess a Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Care, and be registered with Social Work England or able to obtain registration prior to starting.
Candidates should have appropriate and relevant experience in children and families social work, including supervising complex casework and undertaking contested care proceedings.
Post-qualification experience is required, particularly in supervising and coaching social workers, as well as raising practice standards.

Location: Bromley Civic Centre/hybrid working

Applicants must have Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Care, enhanced Disclosure Barring Service check, and be registered with Social Work England (or able to obtain registration prior to commencement of employment).

Appropriate and relevant experience and post-qualification experience of children and families social work within a statutory, voluntary or independent sector organisation.

Supervising complex Casework

Undertaking contested care proceedings

Supervising Supporting & coaching Social Workers

Experience of Practice teaching

Raising practice standards
