Your new companyYou'll be working for a charity located in the South East. This organisation invests income from their properties to support education, elderly housing, and community maintenance. Additionally, they fund seven schools across Dulwich, Orpington, and London through direct support or foundation trusts. Your new roleThe successful candidate will assist in all aspects of property repair, maintenance, and improvement, while performing general building surveying duties, such as:

  • Creating specifications
  • Carrying out Inspections/defect diagnosis
  • Administering/overseeing works in progress
  • Complying with H&S regulations
  • Tendering
  • Coordinating with contractors
  • Managing projects
  • Liaising with different stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

  • Member of the RICS with a proven track record of professional competency
  • Previous experience of surveying / property management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage difficult conversations
  • Strong MS Office skills, CAD and ability to learn and use different systems
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Must have your own car and a clean driving licence
