Senior Digital Solutions Engineer

Are you an experienced Senior Digital Solutions Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team? Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a talented individual to join their Digital Solutions team. As a Senior Digital Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end development and maintenance of their customer-facing portal, internal systems, core administration systems, and analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and tune SQL Server database performance
  • Administer SQL Server databases
  • Design and develop views, stored procedures, and SSIS packages using Visual Studio
  • Provide guidance and estimates for proposed solutions
  • Handle 2nd-3rd line incidents and problem management for client-facing technology services and business applications
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and other IT teams to resolve incidents
  • Contribute to the extension of the DevOps framework and automate development and release processes
  • Conduct systems design, development, code review, debugging, and support tests

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a DBA and/or systems developer
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, database administration, data movement, SSIS, and data analytics
  • Experience in development and deployment
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) concepts
  • Passion for providing quality service and willingness to develop new skills
  • Experience in building APIs and RESTful services is a plus
