Description
- Manage and oversee the company's credit control processes
- Ensure company's financial policies are upheld at all times
- Communicate with clients regarding overdue payments
- Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress
- Collaborate with the accounting team to set credit limits
- Help provide next steps to any legal disputes over payments
- Participate in setting and implementing financial goals for the company
- Identify and address discrepancies in financial documents and reports
- Maintain a positive working relationship with clients and the internal team
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (CICM)
- Knowledge of credit control procedures and policies
- Excellent numerical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
