Location: Commutable to Keston

Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + profit share bonus

Benefits: £5,000 car allowance, private health care, and 21days annual leave

The role of the Quantity Surveyor Tiling and Stonework will involve:

Quantity surveyor position dealing with a range of floor and wall tiling projects within the residential, leisure, commercial, retail and industrial sectors

Preparing tender and contract documents, including electronic taking off quantities

Measuring and carrying out take-offs from drawings/ specifications, apply rates, calculate, and complete pricing schedules

Keeping up to date with site progress through Operations Manager, Site / Project Managers, recording progress made, and transferring information onto monthly payment applications

Pricing variations and changes in line with subcontractor parameters

Dealing with subcontract applications and negotiating subcontractor price

Updating any changes to the agreed contract scope

Keeping track of application figures and ensuring relevant departments are aware of potential budget or financial constraints

Building strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors

• Working on projects varying in size from £10k to £2m

The ideal applicant will be Quantity Surveyor Tiling and Stonework with:

Must have proven Quantity Surveying experience within the UK construction market sector

Ideally will have experience within the flooring, tiling or fitout market sector

Must have excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal

IT literate (Microsoft Office)

Strong numerical skills and negotiation skills

High levels of organisation and attention to detail

Presentable, humble, enthusiastic & self-motivated
