We are partnered with a privately owned care business based in Bromley who are actively recruiting for a skilled Second Line Level Support Engineer on a permanent basis Monday - Friday to operate on site and at various care homes across the South-East.

The successful candidate will be support 3000+ non technical users collectively as part of a tight knit team as well as working closely with project managers and external MSPs, embarking on network and telephony projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring network switches and routers
  • Setting up users\devices on VoIP system, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Installing new phone handsets, patching network switches
  • Undertaking site surveys for data collection on infrastructure readiness for the VoIP migration
  • Provide basic training to the customers on newly deployed systems

To qualify:

  • Experience working with structured (CAT5/6) cabling
  • Experience installing and supporting Hosted (VOIP/SIP) telephone solutions such as 3CX, Splicecom, Yealink
  • Experience installing and supporting network hardware such as routers and switches supplied by Draytek, Meraki
  • Good understanding of SIP, VOIP and networking in general especially network switch and router configuration
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for both on premise and hosted telephony solutions
  • Must have a UK drivers' license (Own car is NOT essential as pool cars can be provided)

Hybrid working is also offered where possible after a successful probationary period.
