  • Significant experience as an Assistant Headteacher or in a similar senior leadership position.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A strong track record in pastoral leadership, with the ability to lead and enhance support systems for students.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to implement school policies and contribute to whole-school development.
  • Take a strategic approach to student wellbeing, mental health, and behaviour, providing strong guidance to staff and students.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies to improve student engagement, attendance, and achievement.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies to support students.
  • Provide leadership, support, and mentorship to staff, particularly in relation to pastoral responsibilities.
