Job Description:

An inclusive school in the heart of Bromley is seeking dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistants to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supporting classroom teachers and working with students on a one-to-one basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students as needed.
  • Assist the classroom teacher in managing and delivering lessons to KS1 and KS2 students.
  • Implement strong behavioral management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Prepare and organise classroom materials and resources.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of classroom activities and educational outings.
  • Monitor and record students' progress and report it to the classroom teacher.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a classroom Teaching Assistant.
  • Experience working with KS1 and KS2 students.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong behavioral management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the students and the school.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
