?? As an HR Officer, you will:
- Manage the recruitment process for new staff, including advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and managing inductions.
- Oversee the administration of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment law and school policies.
- Handle case management, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management, ensuring adherence to school policy and legal requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on HR-related matters, including employee rights, wellbeing, and performance management.
- Maintain accurate records of staff, including personal details, sickness, absence, and leave.
- Administer the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Support the senior leadership team with employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of staff development initiatives, including training and CPD opportunities.
- Ensure that all HR processes are compliant with safeguarding requirements, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

- Proven experience in case management and HR functions, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and case management procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
- Experience with HR management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach, with a commitment to supporting staff wellbeing and engagement.
- A high level of discretion and professionalism, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
